- maintaining transportation records

Different categories of information may have different retention periods.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary and no legal obligation requires continued retention, PullUp may delete, anonymize or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with its retention practices.
Before publication, PullUp should document the actual retention periods used by its production systems.
18. ACCOUNT DELETION
Users may request deletion of their PullUp account through available account controls or by contacting PullUp where applicable.
Account deletion may not require immediate deletion of every record.
PullUp may retain information when reasonably necessary for:
- completed transactions
- financial accounting
- fraud prevention
- safety investigations
- disputes
- legal requirements
- enforcement of agreements
Information that no longer identifies an individual may also be retained for legitimate analytical or operational purposes.

SUBMIT A PRIVACY REQUEST
I would link this directly to the Support Center with Privacy Request preselected.
20. LOCATION CHOICES
You can manage PullUp’s access to location through your mobile device.
Depending on your device, choices may include:
- precise location
- approximate location
- while using the app
- background location
- never
Certain selections can prevent transportation or driver functionality from operating properly.
For example, an active driver may need location services so PullUp can determine availability, dispatch transportation and support an active trip.
21. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
PullUp may use push notifications for transportation and account activity.
Examples include:
- new ride requests
- driver arrival
- trip changes
- payment information
- account notifications
- safety-related messages
Push notifications can generally be managed through device settings.
Disabling notifications may cause you to miss time-sensitive trip information.
22. CHILDREN & MINORS
PullUp’s general rideshare service should not be used by children independently where doing so would violate applicable law, PullUp policy or account requirements.
Any transportation service specifically designed for minors should operate only under applicable legal requirements, guardian authorization, qualified-driver requirements and dedicated safety controls.
Information concerning minors should receive heightened protection and should only be collected when necessary for an authorized service.
PullUp should not market future minor or school transportation services as active until the necessary controls are fully implemented. That limitation is already reflected in PullUp’s published policy framework. (Pull Up Rideshare)
23. ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
Information concerning accessibility requirements should be used only when reasonably necessary to coordinate transportation or comply with applicable obligations.
Users should not be required to disclose unnecessary medical information merely to use ordinary PullUp transportation.
Accessibility preferences must not be used as a basis for unlawful discrimination.
24. SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Certain information handled by PullUp may require additional care because of its nature.
Depending on the service, this may include information related to:
- precise location
- identity documents
- driver’s license information

- certain organization-sponsored transportation
PullUp should collect sensitive information only when reasonably necessary for a legitimate service, safety, compliance or legal purpose.

- security
- performance
- analytics
Where required by applicable law, PullUp should provide appropriate notice or consent controls for non-essential cookies or tracking technologies.

PullUp may integrate third-party technologies required to operate the platform.
For example, the PullUp application currently uses technologies supporting:
- cloud and authentication services
- mapping
- payment processing
- push notifications
- mobile operating systems
When you interact with a third-party service, that provider may process information according to its own privacy practices as well as its contractual relationship with PullUp.
Before final publication, I would explicitly name every production processor we confirm is active—such as the actual Firebase/Google services and Stripe configuration—instead of leaving this section generic.
27. SALE, TARGETED ADVERTISING & DATA SHARING
This section should state PullUp’s actual production practice, not generic legal language.
If PullUp does not sell personal information or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, say that explicitly.
If advertising, analytics or tracking technologies are later introduced, this section should be updated before those technologies are activated.
I would not publish a claim such as “we never sell your information” until we audit every website/app analytics and advertising integration.
28. LEGAL REQUESTS
PullUp may disclose information when required by a valid legal request, court order, subpoena or other applicable legal process.
Where legally permitted, PullUp may evaluate requests for scope, authority and validity before disclosure.
PullUp may also preserve records when reasonably necessary for an anticipated legal, safety or enforcement matter.
29. BUSINESS OR ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES
If PullUp undergoes a merger, restructuring, acquisition, financing, transfer of assets or similar organizational transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law and appropriate privacy protections.
30. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
PullUp may update this Privacy Policy when:
