Community Guidelines
Last updated: September 10, 2026
PullUp Rideshare is intended to support safe, respectful, lawful transportation, delivery, and community mobility. These Community Guidelines apply to riders, drivers, account holders, enterprise users, delivery customers, partners, volunteers, contractors, and anyone interacting through or because of the PullUp platform.
1. Respect and Personal Safety
Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, violence, sexual misconduct, unwanted sexual contact, coercion, retaliation, hate-based conduct, bullying, and intentional endangerment are prohibited. Users must respect personal boundaries, property, privacy, and lawful safety instructions.
2. Discrimination Is Prohibited
No person may deny, cancel, delay, degrade, or condition service because of a characteristic protected by applicable law. PullUp’s Non-Discrimination Policy and Accessibility & Service Animal Policy apply in addition to these Guidelines.
3. Fraud and Platform Manipulation
Users may not create false accounts, impersonate another person, falsify trip information, manipulate GPS or ride status, misuse payment methods, manufacture complaints, stage trips, evade fees, exploit promotions, submit false documents, or otherwise deceive PullUp, a rider, a driver, a partner, or a payment provider.
4. Property and Vehicle Conduct
Intentional damage, theft, vandalism, contamination, unauthorized removal of property, or reckless treatment of a vehicle or other property is prohibited. Users may be responsible for documented losses or cleaning and repair costs to the extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy and Information Use
Personal information learned through a PullUp trip or program may not be used to stalk, harass, solicit, expose, embarrass, threaten, discriminate against, or exploit another person. Recording, photography, or sharing of another person must comply with applicable law and any relevant platform rule.
6. Dangerous or Illegal Conduct
Users may not use PullUp to facilitate crimes, trafficking, unlawful possession or transport of prohibited items, threats, assault, fraud, or other illegal activity. PullUp may refuse, suspend, or terminate service where reasonably necessary to protect safety, comply with law, or preserve platform integrity.
7. Reporting and Cooperation
Users should promptly report serious safety incidents, fraud, discrimination, harassment, property damage, or other material violations through available support channels. PullUp may request photographs, messages, receipts, trip records, witness information, or other relevant evidence. Knowingly submitting false reports is itself a violation.
8. Enforcement Discretion
PullUp may investigate, warn, restrict, suspend, deactivate, remove program access, withhold promotional benefits, or refer matters to appropriate authorities based on the seriousness, credibility, frequency, available evidence, legal requirements, and safety risk associated with reported conduct. PullUp is not required to disclose confidential investigation materials or internal safety methods except where law requires disclosure.
9. No Guarantee and No Continuous Monitoring Duty
PullUp may use reports, ratings, screening, verification, moderation, trip records, technology, and other safety tools, but these measures cannot guarantee that every user will comply with these Guidelines. PullUp does not undertake a duty to continuously monitor every interaction, location, message, or trip unless applicable law expressly requires otherwise.
10. Protected Parties and No Personal Liability
For these Guidelines, “Protected Parties” means Onyx Repository Foundation, PullUp Rideshare, and their current and former directors, officers, founders, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns, including Rodney Addison and Amanda Dixon when acting in connection with PullUp, Onyx Repository Foundation, or an authorized program.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, no Protected Party incurs personal liability merely because that person received a complaint, communicated with a user, participated in an investigation, made a good-faith platform safety decision, administered a program, enforced a policy, or otherwise acted on behalf of PullUp or Onyx Repository Foundation.
Nothing here protects any person from liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited, including for that person’s own fraud, willful misconduct, or other non-waivable conduct.
11. User Responsibility and Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, a person who materially violates these Guidelines agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PullUp and the Protected Parties from third-party claims and losses arising from that person’s unlawful conduct, fraud, intentional misconduct, property damage, privacy violation, misuse of the platform, or violation of another person’s rights. This does not shift liability that applicable law requires a Protected Party to bear.
12. Relationship to Other Policies
These Guidelines supplement the PullUp Terms of Service and service-specific terms. They do not create a guarantee of service or an obligation to continue providing access to a person whose use presents a legitimate safety, legal, fraud, or operational risk. Non-waivable legal rights remain unaffected.
